Molonglo River Bridge – construction commenced

The ACT Government is planning roads and infrastructure upgrades to improve access in and around the Molonglo Valley. The 200 metre bridge will extend John Gorton Drive, connecting the Molonglo Valley to the main arterial roads into the North of the city. This will include public transport infrastructure and off-road paths to support an active travel network.

Denman Village Park – expected summer 2024/2025

Located on Felstead Vista in the heart of Denman Prospect, Denman Village Park is set to include exciting features for people of all ages, including an astronomy-themed playground, shaded barbecues and picnic area, elevated boardwalk, shaded seating and accessible toilets.

Cultural Trail – stage 1 expected late 2024

The Cravens Creek Cultural Trail spans just over 2 kilometres in an acknowledgement to the traditional custodians of the land and their ongoing connection to it. Starting in Denman North, the trail runs east to west along Cravens Creek with 10 feature garden nodes or interpretation points, each exploring a unique element of cultural heritage.

Coree Park – expected mid-2025

With a custom play tower that’s inspired by the rolling hills of the Brindabella Mountains; reflective of the views from Denman Prospect and the rest of the Molonglo Valley.

Community Garden – expected mid-2025

Right next to the Coree Park, the community garden will include 160 member plots available for locals to grow their veggies. There’ll also be a dedicated gardening shed, glasshouse, picnic tables and BBQ facilities that can be used for events and gatherings

Denman North Pond – expected late 2024

The serene spot will offer residents a peaceful escape and stunning views toward the east and the Molonglo River Reserve. The pond has been created as a community destination and will feature walkways, cycling paths, native plants a jetty and boardwalk.
